Nisha Lall BA(Hons) Dance Practice, BA(Hons) Interactive Multimedia, is a freelance dance practitioner trained in Indian, Arabic, Salsa and Contemporary Dance. She is also a UKA Salsa Teacher and JWAAD(Diploma) Teacher.

Nisha runs dance classes, a community performance group that perform at local festivals and charity events and the ASHAY Dance Troupe who perform at UK festivals and events. Nisha is currently using her training and experience to develop dance projects that blend diverse dance styles with elements of contemporary dance.

She is also on the Chance To Dance committee and co-ordinates the Chance To Dance Festival in Sheffield. Chance To Dance promotes and celebrates the cultural diversity of dance in Sheffield and how accessible dance can be to a wide audience aswell as its social and helath benefits. She also voluntarily runs Sheffield Dance Culture which helps to promote, develop and raise the profile of dance in Sheffield from community to professional level.

She has been selected as one of Yorkshire Dance's Regional 12 and was nominated for The Most Inspirational Teacher award at the NADA Awards. She is also a trustee for Croft House, a community Performing Arts Centre located in the City Centre. She has recently stepped down from her role as a Board Member of the Shefield Creative Guild.
